I'm a former 7th-grade science teacher who wandered into IT, fell in love with breaking and fixing systems, and somehow ended up running web development too. Day to day I live in the Microsoft stack (Azure AD, M365, Intune, VPN, Teams), ticketing tools like ServiceNow and Jira, and front-end work in Webflow. I like being the person who can trace a problem from “my email looks weird” all the way down to permissions, DNS, or some half-configured integration that nobody remembers setting up. If something is confusing, brittle, or duct-taped together, that is usually where I end up.
This site is where I unpack all of that. I write about real issues I have had to solve, like untangling email and access flows so finance and ops can audit who sent what, cleaning up chaotic ticket boards, rebuilding a WordPress frankenstein into a clean Webflow site, and using AI as a tool rather than a crutch. The goal is simple: show my work, share what I learn, and hopefully give other people in IT and web roles a clearer path than the one I had. If you are trying to pivot your career, pass your next certification, or turn “can you just update the website” into an actual web dev role, this is the stuff I wish someone had handed me a few years ago.
Just want to give Tyeson major props for his help today. He showed up for Brittaney, helped me do a ton of cleaning and even moved furniture. All with a smile. Appreciate him all the time!
